Jeffrey Halbrecht, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon Emeritus

Dr. Halbrecht is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon recognized internationally for his work in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. Over his distinguished career, he helped advance minimally invasive orthopedic techniques and trained surgeons worldwide through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

He served as Medical Director for the Women's World Pro Ski Tour, consultant for AVP Volleyball and U.S. Soccer, and was a former Associate Professor at UCSF's Graduate Department of Physical Therapy.

After more than three decades in practice, Dr. Halbrecht has retired from active patient care. For the past 30 months, he worked closely with Ephraim Dickinson, MD, an exceptional orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced minimally invasive procedures for the knee and shoulder. Dr. Dickinson shares Dr. Halbrecht's patient-first philosophy and technical expertise, ensuring all former patients continue to receive the highest level of orthopedic care.
